Defined by the CDC, chronic diseases are conditions that last 1 year or more and require ongoing medical attention or limit activities of daily living. For example, heart disease, cancer, and diabetes are all preventable chronic conditions, yet they are the leading causes of death and disability in the United States.

Many chronic conditions are widely impacted by our lifestyle choices. From what we eat to how much sleep we get, there are ways to reduce our risk of suffering from chronic disease.

Meet Ivonne Heath, Health Coach

Ivonne Heath is an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and loving mother of two. She became a Health Coach to fulfill her desire to work with women and teens to improve their health and family life.
Ivonne received her training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where she received in-depth training in nutrition, health and wellness. Ivonne leads workshops on nutrition and well-being and offers group coaching in health and nutrition for women. (Coaching also available in Spanish)
